HELP RAISE
Raise is a funding initiative created to support the Sudbury Design Society Scholarship. We’re asking for volunteers to create original designs for the community to wear with pride and to help fund the award. To choose the three designers or illustrators gracious enough to donate their talent and time we will be asking for portfolios to be sent to us directly through email info@sudburydesignsociety.com or through any of our social media pages.
CALL TO ILLUSTRATORS
Illustrators, artists, graphic designers, students or anyone that would like to volunteer their time to create an original pro-bono design to be featured on t-shirts sold to the good people of Greater Sudbury. To be eligible for selection we do not require original work, only portfolios or samples of work.
DEADLINE
The deadline for submission is Sunday, August 9th at 12:00am.
JURY SELECTION
Send us a link to your work or email a portfolio to info@sudburydesignsociety.com. It’s that easy. The submitted portfolios will be juried and three creators will be selected to produce the final designs for the fundraiser.
ATTRIBUTION
Starting after the Jury Selection of all samples and/or portfolios submitted the chosen designers and illustrators will be attributed for their work with SDS. We will be posting links and creating social media posts linking to the social media account of their preference prior to the shirts being available for sale. Once the final designs are complete and the t-shirts are available for purchase the pieces will be properly attributed to each designer as well as a permanent attribution on the sponsor section of our SDS Scholarship website page.
We’re always thankful to designers and illustrators who are willing to donate their time and efforts to a non-for-profit by helping us raise money and awareness for design in Sudbury.
All proceeds will go to the Sudbury Design Society Award and all artwork will be attributed to its creator.
