2021 SDA: Clarity Judges
Sudbury Design Awards Clarity Judges
The Sudbury Design Awards 2021 Clarity was made possible by an incredible team of judges.
Each year the awards category is judged by designers that come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and in order to give an impartial and neutral vote. Each judge is a volunteer who took the time to read through each submission and give through commentary on their reasons for selecting they're winning pieces. We are so thankful to each of the judges for helping us with the 2021 Sudbury Design Awards: Clarity.

Edmund is an associate and design director with over 20 years of experience designing interpretive and wayfinding programs, exhibits, donor recognition installations, and interactive media for public environments around the world. With his architectural mindset and graphic design background, Edmund’s work often features a high level of integration between 2D and 3D elements, transforming linear messages into environmental statements — inspiring users to engage in meaningful ways.
Creating design programs that are accessible to visitors of all ages, ability and demography is an important aspect of Edmund’s design philosophy. This is reflected in the choice of typography, colour, contrast and message delivery techniques in all of the projects he designs. He is a co-author of “AccessAbility 2: A Practical Handbook on Accessible Graphic Design”.
