Description:
NWAC is a non-profit organization with a goal to enhance, promote, and foster the social, economic, cultural and political well-being of First Nations and Métis women within First Nation, Métis and Canadian societies. The NWAC logo designed by DDP is a mark that acknowledges the women who have been with us to plant the seeds of success and those who will continue to nurture that growth into the future. The logo symbolizes the guidance of Grandmother Moon, the life-bearing gift of water, the teachings of fire, the acknowledgement of the spirits, recognition of future generations, and the cyclical cycle of nature. Elements of the NWAC brand have made their way into the programs sub branding. That way there are elements of the main brand within all facets of NWAC’s presence. This is done through usage of colour, theme, or pieces of the NWAC pattern.
