“The focal point of the tee is the phrase ‘mind before matter’. This is my own reworking of the phrase and is redefined to represent the most critical aspect of the design process: thinking! I surrounded the phrase with well-known designs and inventions that are often taken for granted yet have a lot of thinking behind them and have helped shape the modern world. Every human-made design and invention involves a great deal of thought and refinement before it is finalized—and yes, that includes hamburgers!”
