Sudbury Design Awards: Refined
The Sudbury Design Society presents the Sudbury Design Awards: Refined. This event is a biennial exhibition that displays the best in student and professional work across the full gamut of the Greater Sudbury’s creative industries.
Refinement represents development or improvement, so as to be precise or subtle. With focus on our mining city, this term best reflects our design community’s image. As designers, architects, illustrators and other creative professionals, we are always refining our work and the environment around us.

The Sudbury Design Awards: Refined exhibit is was up at South End and New Sudbury Greater Sudbury Public Libraries! We are so happy to have a supportive community that wants to show off the local design talent here. Thank you to the GSP Library staff for helping us arrange this and make our vision possible.

The Refined jury panel was carefully composed to include industry leaders, educators, and the business community. Our dream team of jurors brought their own diverse background and experience to the judging table.
Winning Exhibition Pieces:
We invited Greater Sudbury local designers to submit their work that had been completed between January 2014 and December 2016. The submitted pieces were thoroughly reviewed by the expert panel of jurors we assembled. The result is an exhibition that showcases the best in student and professional work across the full gamut of the Sudbury’s creative industries.
